[1:59] That’s not where self development happens. That’s not where growth happens. You need to live in the present moment. I encourage you to take up a meditation practice to do that.
[11:00] The goal is to realize that you’re gonna have a long term relationship with burnout. And it’s just about trying to stay in balance as long as possible and giving yourself grace.
[15:28] I love that just self awareness and being like, “okay, I’m not a PMS thing. I’m burned out.” Like for me PMS and burnout have a very similar sense of you’re tired and cranky.
[18:44] My first tip is to have systems and processes in place from the beginning. And when you’re first starting out, things like that aren’t necessarily on your mind. And a time will come when you’re going to need it.
[19:39] You don’t have to have a formal operating manual but essentially, you should have enough documentation that you could hand somebody this packet of information and they would like you to franchise your business essentially, like think about your systems and processes.
[22:59] So number two is to surround yourself with other business owners. The people, your community, who you surround yourself with is just so incredibly important.
